Smelter Returns definition

Smelter Returns for a Calendar Quarter in respect of all of the Products means, for each of the Products, the average Mineral Price Quotation for the Product for a Calendar Quarter multiplied by the total number of appropriate units of measurement of the Product beneficiated by the Payor or credited by the smelter, refiner or other bona fide purchaser to the Payor during that Calendar Quarter.
Smelter Returns shall be defined to be the gross amount received from the sale of valuable minerals after recovery of all exploration, development, and capital costs and less all taxes levied, incurred or imposed on the sale, severance or production of such minerals and less costs of extraction, mining, milling, treating, transportation to the smelter and/or refinery, smelting and refining charges and costs of sale.
Smelter Returns means: the actual proceeds derived from any mint, mill, smelter, refinery or purchaser for the sale of ores, metals or concentrates produced from the Property and sold, after deducting from such proceeds the following charges to the extent that they were not deducted by the purchaser in computing payment: all smelting and refining charges, penalties, cost of transportation or ores, metals or concentrates from the mining property to any mint, mill, smelter or other purchaser; marketing costs, insurance of such ores, metals or concentrates; and any export or import tax on said ores, metals or concentrates levied in Canada or by the country into which such ore, metals or concentrates are Imported if such charges or costs are deducted from the proceeds received.

Examples of Smelter Returns in a sentence

  • Smelter Returns by the Purchaser to the Vendor shall be made semi-annually within 60 days after the end of each fiscal half year of the Purchaser and shall be accompanied by unaudited financial statements pertaining to the operations carried out by the Purchaser on the Claims.

  • Within 90 days after the end of each fiscal year of the Purchaser in which Net Smelter Returns are payable to the Vendor, the records relating to the calculation of Net Smelter Returns for such year shall be audited and any resulting adjustments in the payment of Net Smelter Returns payable to the Vendor shall be made forthwith.

Related to Smelter Returns

  • Net Smelter Returns means the gross proceeds received by the Purchaser in any year from the sale of Product from the mining operation on the Property, less successively: (i) the cost of transportation of such Product to a smelter or other place of treatment, and (ii) smelter and treatment charges;

  • Net Smelter Return means the aggregate proceeds received by the Optionee from time to time from any smelter or other purchaser from the sale of any ores, concentrates, metals or any other material of commercial value produced by and from the Property after deducting from such proceeds the following charges only to the extent that they are not deducted by the smelter or other purchaser in computing the proceeds:

  • Volumetric Production Payments means production payment obligations recorded as deferred revenue in accordance with GAAP, together with all undertakings and obligations in connection therewith.

  • smelter means an electrolytic reduction plant for the conversion of alumina to aluminium using alumina produced from bauxite;

  • Baseline actual emissions means the rate of emissions, in tons per year, of a regulated NSR pollutant, as determined in accordance with paragraphs (i) through (iv) of this definition.

  • Adjusted Gross Sales means for either party distributing and selling Product (in this Section the “Selling Party”):

  • Adjusted gross receipts means the gross receipts less winnings paid to wagerers.

  • Corporate Taxpayer Return means the federal and/or state and/or local Tax Return, as applicable, of the Corporate Taxpayer filed with respect to Taxes of any Taxable Year.

  • Total Shareholder Return means the total return (change in share price plus reinvestment of any dividends) of a Share.

  • Peak tube potential means the maximum value of the potential difference across the x-ray tube during an exposure.

  • Gross Calorific Value of “GCV” shall mean that quantity of heat expressed in Kilowatt- hour produced by the complete combustion of one (1) normal cubic metre of Natural Gas at twenty-five (25) degrees Celsius and an absolute pressure of one decimal zero one three two five (1.01325) bar with excess air at the same temperature and pressure as the Natural Gas when the products of combustion are cooled to twenty-five (25) degrees Celsius and when the water formed by combustion is condensed to the liquid state and the products of combustion contain the same total mass of water vapor as the Natural Gas and air before combustion.

  • Actual emissions means the actual rate of emissions in tpy of any regulated pollutant (for fee calculation) emitted from a Part 71 source over the preceding calendar year. Actual emissions shall be calculated using each emissions unit’s actual operating hours, production rates, in-place control equipment, and types of materials processed, stored, or combusted during the preceding calendar year.

  • Net Revenue Interest means, with respect to any Property, the interest in and to all Hydrocarbons produced, saved, and sold from or allocated to such Property after giving effect to all royalties, overriding royalties, production payments, carried interests, net profits interests, reversionary interests, and other burdens upon, measured by, or payable out or production therefrom.

  • Production Burdens means any royalties (including lessor’s royalties), overriding royalties, production payments, net profit interests or other similar interests that constitute a burden on, and are measured by or are payable out of, the production of Hydrocarbons or the proceeds realized from the sale or other disposition thereof (including any amounts payable to publicly traded royalty trusts), but excluding Taxes and assessments of Governmental Entities.

  • Relative Total Shareholder Return means for the Incentive Period the Total Shareholder Return of the Company compared to the Total Shareholder Return of the Peer Group, as more particularly set forth on attached Exhibit C.

  • Gross weight means the aggregate weight of a vehicle or combination of vehicles and the load

  • Projected actual emissions means the maximum annual rate, in tons per year, at which an existing emissions unit is projected to emit a regulated NSR pollutant in any one of the 5 years (12-month period) following the date the unit resumes regular operation after the project, or in any one of the 10 years following that date, if the project involves increasing the emissions unit’s design capacity or its potential to emit that regulated NSR pollutant, and full utilization of the unit would result in a significant emissions increase, or a significant net emissions increase at the major stationary source.

  • Production Payments means, collectively, Dollar-Denominated Production Payments and Volumetric Production Payments.

  • Gross earnings means all monies earned by the Employee under the terms of this Collective Agreement.

  • Returns means the amounts yielded by an investment and in particular, though not exclusively, includes profit, interest, capital gains, dividends, royalties and fees;

  • EBIT means, for any period, the net income of the Company and its Subsidiaries on a Consolidated basis for such period plus each of the following with respect to the Company and its Subsidiaries on a Consolidated basis to the extent utilized in determining such net income: (a) Interest Expense and (b) provision for taxes.

  • Gross Profits means the gross profits calculated under section 4;

  • Net Revenue means an entity’s total revenue less its operating expenses, interest paid, depreciation, and taxes. “Net Revenue” is synonymous with “Profit.”

  • own-source revenue means adjusted underlying revenue other than revenue that is not under the control of council (including government grants)

  • Total Stockholder Return means the total return (change in share price plus reinvestment of any dividends) of a Share.

  • Disposable earnings means that part of the earnings of an
