Snatch Theft definition

Snatch Theft means loss of wallet, purse or other bag in the possession of the Insured person at the material time together with the contents therein or loss of any valuables worn by the Insured Person at the material time as a result of the same being snatched away by unknown person including attempt thereof.
Snatch Theft means the act of forcefully stealing or attempt thereof, from an Insured Person. For the purpose of this Policy, Snatch Theft is included to cover robbery or attempted robbery and snatch grab – situation where the Insured Person’s possessions are grabbed or attempted to be grabbed, from the Insured Person
Snatch Theft means the document containing salient and relevant information pertaining to this Policy including the list of Benefits and Sum Insured. means the act of forcefully snatching from the Insured Person who was, at the time of such act, a pedestrian at a public walkway or in a transport or in a public place outside Insured Person’s residence or place of work and fleeing the scene.

  • If You have lost Your Personal Effects as a result of Snatch Theft, We will reimburse for the loss of Personal Effects per Accident up to the maximum amount stated in the Certificate Schedule.
