MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (MBE means an individual, partnership, corporation or joint venture of any kind that is owned and controlled by U. S. Citizens and residents of Ohio, who are and have held themselves out as members of the following socially and economically disadvantaged groups: Blacks, American Indians, Hispanics and Asians. Only businesses certified by the State of Ohio Equal Opportunity Division in accordance with Section 123.151 of the Ohio Revised Code shall be recognized as being MBE certified within the purpose of this invitation.
Minority Owned Business Enterprise or "MBE" means a firm awarded certification as a minority owned and controlled business in accordance with City Ordinances and Regulations as well as a firm awarded certification as a minority owned and controlled business by Cook County, Illinois. However, it does not mean a firm that has been found ineligible or which has been decertified by the City or Cook County.
Women Owned Business Enterprise or "WBE" means a firm awarded certification as a women owned and controlled business in accordance with City Ordinances and Regulations as well as a firm awarded certification as a women owned business by Cook County, Illinois. Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise means a business enterprise, including a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation that is:
Certified Minority Business Enterprise means a business which has been certified by the certifying organization or jurisdiction in accordance with s. 287.0943(1) and (2).
Microenterprise means an enterprise which employs fewer than 10 persons and whose annual turnover and/or annual balance sheet total does not exceed EUR 2 million;
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) means a small business concern pursuant to ORS 200.005(1), which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, or, in the case of any corporation, at least 51 percent of the stock of which is owned by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more of the socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it.
CMBI means Chase Manhattan Bank International, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank, located in Moscow, Russia, and any nominee companies appointed by it.
Black woman-owned enterprise means an enterprise with at least 25, 1% representation of black women within the black equity and management portion.
Xxxxxxx Group means (i) any member of the Xxxxxxx Family, (ii) any Related Person of any such member, and (iii) the Xxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, Jr. Grantor Retained Annuity Trust, the Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Family Trust, the Xxxx Xxxxxxx Children’s Trust c/o Argent Trust, and the Xxxx Xxxxxxx Legacy Trust-2010 c/o Argent Trust. For the avoidance of doubt, the Persons named in (iii) above may be Related Persons of members of the Xxxxxxx Family.
minority business enterprise means any small contractor or supplier of materials fifty-one percent or more of the capital stock, if any, or assets of which is owned by a person or persons: (1) who are active in the daily affairs of the enterprise, (2) who have the power to direct the management and policies of the enterprise, and (3) who are members of a minority, as such term is defined in subsection (a) of Connecticut General Statutes § 32-9n; and
HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.
Women Business Enterprise (WBE) as used in this policy means a business enterprise that meets all of the following criteria:
CSAM or "Credit Suisse" (or any combination thereof).
Universal Digital Loop Carrier (UDLC means the DLC system that has a CO terminal channel bank that is connected to the CO switches on the analog side.
Newco has the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.
Subco has the meaning set out in the Preamble;
Xxxxxx Group shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(b) hereof.
HK Company shall have the meaning ascribed to it in the preamble of this Agreement.
Business enterprise means any corporation, partnership, limited liability company, sole proprietorship, joint venture or other business association or entity (other than the Company) engaged in the business of publishing national and regional publications and development of technology that serves the needs of online and print publishers and their advertisers in the Market Area;
We/Us/Our means TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited.
AMC means Annual Maintenance Contract
Student media advisor means an individual who is employed, appointed, or designated by the District to supervise or provide instruction with respect to student media.
CSC means the Civil Service Commission of the City and County of San Francisco.
Holdco has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.
micro-enterprise means an enterprise that employs less than ten employees having an annual turnover or a balance sheet total not exceeding 2 million Euro.
