Special Levy definition

Special Levy means a levy imposed as a special levy by a financial sector body in terms of legislation that empowers the imposition of a levy;
Special Levy means any Special Levy/Levies imposed by the Developer, during the Development Period, and thereafter by the Board or the Trustees, as the case may be, over and above the Levies as referred to in Clause 14 below, but also calculated and payable in terms of the provision of Clause 14 below;
Special Levy means a special levy issued by an internal drainage board under regulations under section 75 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

Examples of Special Levy in a sentence

  • The Special Levy assessed on taxable parcels within the PID shall be sufficient to generate 110% of the maximum annual debt service requirements of all PID Bonds outstanding and proposed to be issued, plus annually budgeted administrative expenses of the PID.

  • Unless otherwise authorized or limited by applicable law, the total overlapping tax and assessment burden, including the Special Levy, shall not exceed 1.95% of the average estimated value of each category of real property subject to the Special Levy assuming that a certificate of occupancy or completion has been issued.
