Special Master definition

Special Master means an expert appointed by a judge to make sure that judicial orders are followed. A master's function is essentially investigative, compiling evidence or documents to inform some future action by the court.
Special Master has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 9.01.

Special Master means the Person or Persons from time to time appointed by HOC and the SOC to fulfill the functions of the “Special Master” under this Agreement (so long as such Person or Persons continues to serve in such capacity). If, at any time, three (3) or more Persons constitute the “Special Master,” then any determination of any Special Master shall be the decision of the Special Master.
