State Claims Agency definition

State Claims Agency means the National Treasury Management Agency when performing the functions conferred on it by this Act.
State Claims Agency is part of the National Treasury Management Agency and pursuant to the National Treasury Management Agency (Amendment) Act 2000 manages certain claims on behalf of the State (to include personal injury and third party property claims), provides risk management advices and assistance to State authorities and manages clinical risk management and the management of clinical negligence claims referred to as the Clinical Indemnity Scheme;

  • State Contracting Agency means the department for which this contract is to be performed and for which the Commissioner or Authorized Designee acted in signing this contract.

  • State agency means any of the principal departments in the Executive Branch of the State Government, and any division, board, bureau, office, commission or other instrumentality within or created by such department, the Legislature of the State and any office, board, bureau or commission within or created by the Legislative Branch, and any independent State authority, commission, instrumentality or agency.

  • General Bar Date means June 15, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) for certain Claims arising before the Petition Date, including 503(b)(9) Claims, Secured Claims, General Unsecured Claims, or Priority Non-Tax Claims as established by the Bar Date Order.

  • Provider agency means a funded organization under contract with the Children’s Board to deliver and provide social services and supports to children and families of Hillsborough County, FL.

  • Emergency Medical Transportation means the transportation, by ambulance, of sick, injured or otherwise incapacitated persons who require emergency medical care.

  • County agency means the county social service board.

  • Community action agency means a nonprofit eleemosynary corporation created pursuant to Chapter 45, Title 43 providing, among other things, weatherization services to a homeowner or tenant.

  • Member Agency means a voting and dues paying municipal or other government entity located within Kitsap County which is a party to this Agreement.

  • Home health agency means a public or private organization, or a subdivision of such an agency or organization, which meets all of the following requirements:

  • Claims Objection Bar Date means the deadline for objecting to a Claim, which shall be on the date that is the later of (a) 180 days after the Effective Date and (b) such other period of limitation as may be specifically fixed by the Debtors or the Reorganized Debtors, as applicable, or by an order of the Bankruptcy Court for objecting to Claims.
