Swiss TIN means: - for individuals: the Old Age and Survivors Insurance Number according to the Federal Law of 20 December 1946 on the Old Age and Survivors Insurance; - for entities: the entity identification number according to the Federal Law of 18 June 2010 on the Entities Identification Number.

Related to Swiss TIN

  • Swiss Franc means the lawful currency of Switzerland.

  • Swiss Guarantor means any Guarantor incorporated or organized under the laws of Switzerland.

  • Swiss Guidelines means all relevant federal tax statutes and guidelines issued by the Swiss Federal Tax Administration as amended or newly issued from time to time, including the established practice of the Swiss Federal Tax Administration and any court decision relating thereto.

  • Swiss Withholding Tax means any withholding tax in accordance with the Swiss Federal Statute on Anticipatory Tax of 13 October 1965 (Bundesgesetz uber die Verrechnungssteuer) and any successor provision, as appropriate.

  • Swiss Borrower means a Borrower incorporated in Switzerland and/or having its registered office in Switzerland and/or qualifying as a Swiss resident pursuant to Art. 9 of the Swiss Federal Withholding Tax Act.
