Bangladesh Bank means the bank established under Article 3 of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 127 of 1972) for the purpose of carrying on the business of central banking and also includes its successors;
credit institution means a credit institution as defined in point (1) of Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013;
International Financial Institution means any bank in the top 1,000 (together with their affiliated companies) as measured by "Tier 1" capital or any broker/dealer in the top 100 as measured by capital.
Eye bank means a person that is licensed, accredited, or regulated under federal or state law to engage in the recovery, screening, testing, processing, storage, or distribution of human eyes or portions of human eyes.
foreign financial institution means an institution registered as a foreign financial institution with the Ministry of Finance in the Mexican Banking and Financial Institutions, Pensions, Retirement and Foreign Investment Funds Registry for purposes of Article 195, Section I of the Mexican Income Tax Law.
UK Financial Institution means any BRRD Undertaking (as such term is defined under the PRA Rulebook (as amended from time to time) promulgated by the United Kingdom Prudential Regulation Authority) or any person falling within IFPRU 11.6 of the FCA Handbook (as amended from time to time) promulgated by the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority, which includes certain credit institutions and investment firms, and certain affiliates of such credit institutions or investment firms.
International banking institution means an international financial institution of which the United States is a member and whose securities are exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933.
Asset Management Company/UTI AMC/AMC/Investment Manager means the UTI Asset Management Company Limited incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, (1 of 1956) [replaced by The Companies Act, 2013 (No.18 of 2013)] and approved as such by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) under sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 21 to act as the Investment Manager to the schemes of UTI Mutual Fund.
UK Non-Bank Lender means where a Lender becomes a Party after the day on which this Agreement is entered into, a Lender which gives a Tax Confirmation in the assignment agreement or Transfer Certificate which it executes on becoming a Party.
Limited line credit insurance producer means a person who sells, solicits, or negotiates one or more forms of limited line credit insurance coverage to an individual through a master, corporate, group, or individual policy.
Canadian financial institution means (i) an association governed by the Cooperative Credit Associations Act (Canada) or a central cooperative credit society for which an order has been made under section 473(1) of that Act, or (ii) a bank, loan corporation, trust company, trust corporation, insurance company, treasury branch, credit union, caisse populaire, financial services cooperative, or league that, in each case, is authorized by an enactment of Canada or a jurisdiction of Canada to carry on business in Canada or a jurisdiction of Canada;
L/C Bank means the Acceptable Bank providing a letter of credit pursuant to Section 5.3 of the Facility Lease.
Japan Local Currency Bank means each Bank listed on the signature pages of this Addendum or which becomes a party hereto pursuant to an Assignment and Acceptance or an Assumption and Acceptance.
Exiting Lender see Section 2.17.7.
credit institutions means credit institutions as defined under Directive 2006/48/EC;
EUWA means the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018;
banking institution means a bank, bank and trust company, trust company, savings bank, private bank, or a national banking association, organized and doing business under the provisions of any law of this state, or of any other state of the United States, or under the provisions of any law of the United States of America.
The World Bank means the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) or the international Development Association (IDA).
approved blood scheme means a scheme established or approved by the Secretary of State, or trust established with funds provided by the Secretary of State, for the purpose of providing compensation in respect of a person having been infected from contaminated blood products;
Investment Bank means each of those reputable internationally recognised investment banks, selected from time to time as First Choice Investment Banks or as a Third Investment Bank in terms of Section 1.4 or Section 1.5 of the Subscription Agreement (as the case may be), whose Mandate Letters remain effective.
Funding Bank shall have the meaning given to such term in Section 3.3 hereof.
Municipal Finance Management Act means the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003);
Existing bank means a savings bank, national banking association, or state chartered bank engaged in the business of banking prior to the consolidation under this section.
Fortis means Fortis Inc.;
Irish Qualifying Lender means a Lender which is beneficially entitled to interest payable to that Lender in respect of an advance under this Agreement and is:
your financial institution means the financial institution nominated by you on the DDR at which the account is maintained.
