Temporary Activities Sponsor definition

Temporary Activities Sponsor means a party approved as a sponsor in relation to the temporary activities sponsor class under the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) (as that Act is varied from time to time).

  • Approved Employer means a party to this Deed who is: approved by Us as an employer for the purposes of the Scheme; participating in the Scheme by recruiting and employing Workers subject to the terms of this Deed; and approved as a Temporary Activities Sponsor by the Department of Home Affairs.

  • In addition to the terms and conditions outlined in this Deed and Schedule, You must: act in a manner that maintains the good reputation of the Seasonal Worker Programme; act in a manner that supports Australia’s strong bilateral relationships with Participating Countries; and perform all obligations as required by You as a Temporary Activities Sponsor with the Department of Home Affairs.

  • This Deed expires five (5) years from the Effective Date (‘Term’), irrespective of the date your approval as a Temporary Activities Sponsor ends, unless terminated by Us earlier.

  • The business structure matches the requirements of becoming a Temporary Activities Sponsor (with theDepartment of Home Affairs) and ensures PLS Approved Employers are ‘national systememployers’ (provides the Fair Work Ombudsman with the right of entry into the workplace).

  • Temporary housing means any tent, trailer, motor home, or other structure used for human shelter which is designed to be transportable and which is not attached to the ground, to another structure, or to any utilities system on the same premises for more than thirty (30) days.

  • Temporary food service establishment means a food service establishment that operates at a fixed location for a period of time of not more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.

  • Temporary food establishment means a food establishment that operates for a period of no more than fourteen consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.

  • Temporary Teacher means a Teacher employed to work full-time or part-time for a specified period, which is greater than four school weeks. A Teacher may be employed as a Temporary Teacher in the following circumstances:

  • Temporary use means a use or structure on improved or unimproved real estate which is of impermanent nature, and is used for less than ninety days in a calendar year.

  • Temporary Employee is one who is hired on a temporary basis for a full- time or part-time position: (i) for a specific job of more than three (3) months but less than twelve

  • Regulation S Temporary Global Note is exchangeable in whole or in part for one or more Global Notes only (i) on or after the termination of the 40-day restricted period (as defined in Regulation S) and (ii) upon presentation of certificates (accompanied by an Opinion of Counsel, if applicable) required by Article 2 of the Indenture. Upon exchange of this Regulation S Temporary Global Note for one or more Global Notes, the Trustee shall cancel this Regulation S Temporary Global Note.

  • Economic activities shall in principle include activities of an industrial, commercial and professional character and activities of craftsmen;

  • Temporary clean coal technology demonstration project means a clean coal technology demonstration project that is operated for a period of five years or less and that complies with the SIP and other requirements necessary to attain and maintain the national ambient air quality standards during the project and after the project is terminated.

  • Temporary Vacancy a vacancy in a position caused by the regularly assigned employee being absent from duty or temporarily assigned to other duties.

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or "TANF" means the program administered by the Department through which a relative can receive monthly cash assistance for the support of his eligible children.

  • Restricted Activities means those activities described in Section 10 of this Agreement.

  • Temporary custody means legal custody of a child who is removed from the child's home, which custody may be terminated at any time at the discretion of the court or, if the legal custody is granted in an agreement for temporary custody, by the person who executed the agreement.

  • Substantial development means any development of which the total cost or fair market value exceeds two thousand five hundred dollars, or any development which materially interferes with the normal public use of the water or shorelines of the state; except that the following shall not be considered substantial developments for the purpose of this chapter:
