Temporary Closure definition

Temporary Closure means ceasing operation of all or part of a facility with the intent of reusing the facility or portion of the facility at a future date.
Temporary Closure means a period of time that a storage tank is empty but is not permanently closed or has not changed service to store a non-regulated substance. This term does not apply when a tank system is emptied for repair.
Temporary Closure means a regulated tank or UST system that has been out of operation for three months or more.

Examples of Temporary Closure in a sentence

  • The notice shall state the nature and reason for the Temporary Closure, the anticipated duration of the Temporary Closure, what actions will be taken to comply with Subsection 15(b), and any event which would reasonably be anticipated to result in the resumption or abandonment of Millsite Operations.

  • Lessee shall notify the Division in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to any planned Temporary Closure of ninety (90) days or longer.

  • Millsite Operations must resume for not less than ninety (90) consecutive days in order to terminate the running of the Temporary Closure.

  • If a Temporary Closure extends beyond three (3) years, the Division may deem Millsite Operations to be permanently abandoned or ceased, and whereupon final Reclamation must commence unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

  • Lessee shall notify the Division of any unanticipated Temporary Closure expected to last ninety (90) days or more within ten (10) days of the first day of the Temporary Closure.


More Definitions of Temporary Closure

Temporary Closure or “temporarily closed” means that owners and operators do not deposit regulated substances into the UST or tank system nor dispense regulated substances from the UST or tank system for sixty days or longer, except for UST systems that store fuel solely for use by emergency power generators and UST systems with field-constructed tanks. For UST systems that store fuel solely for use by emergency power generators and UST systems with field-constructed tanks, “temporary closure” or “temporarily closed” means that the UST or tank system is empty, as defined in section 11-280.1-70(a), and owners and operators do not deposit regulated substances into the UST or tank system for sixty days or longer.
Temporary Closure means the time between when a tank is out of service and is permanently closed.
Temporary Closure means a complete or partial temporary closure of business operations due to Covid- 19 pandemic for the period in the Direction called Covid-19 TERS;
Temporary Closure means a total prohibition on the use of gillnets, used under a permit issued in accordance with Schedule II for fishing in the area defined in Area C.
