Transmission Speed definition

Transmission Speed means the download speed in terms of Mbps (millions of bits per second) or Kbps (thousands of bits per second) that data is transferred from the internet to Your Equipment;
Transmission Speed means data transmission speed or rate, in bits per seconds (bps).
Transmission Speed means the rate in either thousands of bits per second ("Kbps") or millions of bits per second ("Mbps") that data is transferred between the internet and the Router and excludes the rate at which data is subsequently transmitted between the Router and the Booster or other devices within the Premises via a wired connection or wi-fi;

  • Where the Company connect the Customer at the Customer’s new address, We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Customer’s connection is at the same Transmission Speed as that at the Customer’s old address prior to the Customer’s move.

  • The Transmission Speed available to the Customer will be affected by the operational and technical characteristics of the Customer’s telephone line, the Network and the Customer’s chosen Equipment;Working Day09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday but excluding public holidays in the United Kingdom recognised by the Company.

  • Transmission Speed Dimension 5 does not warranty that the SERVICE or equipment provided by Dimension 5 will perform at a particular speed of bandwidth or data throughput rate or will be uninterrupted.

  • If an engineer visits the Premises to install and set up the Fibre Optic Broadband Service and the Transmission Speed of your Fibre Optic Broadband Service does not reach the minimum specified by us in relation to the Fibre Optic Broadband Service we will be unable to provide the Fibre Optic Broadband Service to you.

  • Channel or CircuitA dedicated communications path between two or more points having a Bandwidth or Transmission Speed specified in this Tariff and selected by a Customer.


More Definitions of Transmission Speed

Transmission Speed means the rate in terms of Mbps (millions of bits per second) or Kbps (thousands of bits per second) that data is transferred between two modems. The Transmission Speed available to you will be affected by the operational and technical characteristics of your phone line and your chosen access equipment or the Equipment that you connect to your Broadband Service with;
Transmission Speed means either the rate in Kbps or Mbps that data is transferred between the Equipment and the Broadband Service. The Transmission Speed available to you will be affected by the operational and technical characteristics of your telephone line, the Third Party Operator Network and your chosen Equipment.
Transmission Speed means the rate in either thousands of bits per second ("Kbps") or millions of bits per second ("Mbps") that data is transferred between two points. Your estimated transmission speed will be provided when you place your Order;
Transmission Speed means the rate in terms of Mbps or Gbps that data is transferred between your Equipment and the Service. The Transmission Speed available to you will be affected by the operational and technical characteristics of your physical connection, contention and latency on the telecommunications network, and the Service used.

Related to Transmission Speed

  • Transmission pipeline means any high pressure transmission pipeline connected to, but excluding the Maui Pipeline, that is used for the open access transportation of Gas, and includes all items of plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings directly appurtenanced to that pipeline, but excluding any item which is controlled by a party other than that pipeline’s TP Welded Party and any low pressure distribution system.

  • Transmission Service means Point-To-Point Transmission Service provided under Tariff, Part II on a firm and non-firm basis.

  • Transmission Operator means the entity responsible for the reliability of its “local” Transmission System, and that operates or directs the operations of the Transmission Facilities.

  • Transmission Owner means a Member that owns or leases with rights equivalent to ownership Transmission Facilities and is a signatory to the PJM Transmission Owners Agreement. Metering Equipment:

  • Transmission Facility means a facility for transmitting electricity, and includes any structures, equipment or other facilities used for that purpose as defined in the Parties respective XXXXx.

  • Central Transmission Utility means the Government Company notified by the Central Government under Sub-Section (1) of Section 38 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

The term includes equipment associated with wireless communications services including, but not limited to, private, broadcast, and public safety services, as well as unlicensed wireless services and fixed wireless services such as microwave backhaul.
