UK SCCs definition

UK SCCs means the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers of personal data to countries not otherwise recognized as offering an adequate level of protection for personal data by the European Commission, being either (i) controller-to-processor clauses as approved by the European Commission in Commission Decision 2010/87/EU, dated 5 February 2010 (as amended and updated from time to time) (“UK Controller-to-Processor SCCs”); or (ii) controller-to-controller clauses as approved by the European Commission in Commission Decision 2004/915/EC, dated 27 December 2004 (as amended and updated from time to time) (“UK Controller-to-Controller SCCs”).
UK SCCs means the EU SCCs, as amended by the UK Addendum.
UK SCCs means either (a) the clauses set out in European Commission Decision 2010/87/EC on standard contractual clauses for the transfer of Personal Data to Processors established in Third Countries under Directive 95/46/EC (as such clauses are amended in consequence of the withdrawal of the UK from the EU, or provision made by regulations under section 8 or 23 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018)) or (b) any replacements for the same as may be adopted by the UK.

Examples of UK SCCs in a sentence

  • To the extent that the use of the New UK SCCs require the parties to complete additional information, the parties shall reasonably and promptly work together to complete such additional information.

  • If Customer and Company have entered into Standard Contractual Clauses as described in Section 6 (Transfers of Personal Data), the parties agree that the audits described in Clause 5(f) and Clause 12(2) of the UK SCCs and Clause 8.9 of the EU SCCs shall be carried out in accordance with this Section 8.4.

  • If Customer and Company have entered into Standard Contractual Clauses as described in Section 6 (Transfers of Personal Data), the parties agree that the certification of deletion of Personal Data that is described in Clause 12(1) of the UK SCCs and Clause 8.1(d) and Clause 8.5 of the EU SCCs (as applicable) shall be provided by Company to Customer only upon Customer’s request.

  • The parties agree that ex-UK Transfers are made pursuant to the UK SCCs, which are deemed entered into and incorporated into this DPA by reference, and amended and completed in accordance with the UK Addendum, which is incorporated herein as Exhibit D of this DPA.

  • If there is a Restricted Transfer from the UK, the parties agree to enter into any applicable UK SCCs when the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (“ICO”) approves such clauses.


More Definitions of UK SCCs

UK SCCs means the UK’s new standard form International Data Transfer Agreement (“IDTA”), and International Data Transfer Addendum (the “UK Addendum”) to the new EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC Addendum) effective from March 21, 2022, available at international-data-transfer-addendum.pdf (xxx.xxx.xx) The relevant parties enter into the terms of the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (Version B1.0) which are hereby incorporated into this agreement and completed as follows:
UK SCCs means the standard contractual clauses for controllers to processors approved by the UK Government, which at the date of this DPA is the UK International Data Transfer Agreement available at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xx/media/for-organisations/documents/4019538/international-data-transfer-agreement.pdf or the UK Addendum to the EU SCCs available at xxxxx://xxx.xxx.xx/media/for-organisations/documents/4019539/international-data-transfer-addendum.pdf, as each may be amended or replaced by the Information Commissioner’s Office and/or UK Government from time to time.
UK SCCs means standard data protection clauses adopted pursuant to or permitted under Article 46 of the UK GDPR.
UK SCCs means the Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Commission Decision (2010/87) of 5 February 2010. The UK SCCs are unmodified and will take precedence over any conflicting provisions in this DPA or the Agreement. The UK SCCs (i) apply to personal data transferred pursuant to the Agreement, provided, the personal data is transferred from the United Kingdom to a non-EU/EEA country and (ii) are hereby agreed to between the parties and deemed entered into and incorporated into this DPA by reference as if fully reproduced herein.
UK SCCs means the Standard Contractual Clauses published by the EU Commission in 2010, as set out in Appendix 2 to this schedule.
UK SCCs means the United Kingdom standard contractual clauses or any successor documents or data transfer schemes. As at the date of this Exhibit, a reference to “UK SCCs” means the UK Addendum to the EU Commission Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
