Umbrella Organization definition
Umbrella Organization means a Charitable Organization serving as an agent to at least nine member Charitable Organizations to which it disburses funds and has received authorization from these member Charitable Organizations to represent them in the annual Charitable Campaign, or any other Charitable Organization so designated by the City Council through a City ordinance.

Umbrella Organization means an entity serving as the agent of a group of member charitable organizations to which it disburses funds or products or an entity that grants funds or products to charitable organizations. An umbrella organization shall endorse the program objectives of its member or recipient charitable organizations and shall ensure that such charitable organizations comply with all the requirements of this Chapter. The umbrella organization shall be a charitable organization. Any charitable organization may, under the provisions of this Chapter and in conjunction with nine other charitable organizations, form an umbrella organization.
