Unit of election definition

Unit of election means a city, town, or county, or portion thereof, that holds an election to annex or withdraw from the regional district of the Authority.
Unit of election means a municipality, including the principal municipality, or the unincorporated area of a county.
Unit of election means a political subdivision that previously voted to join the service area of a transit provider.

Related to Unit of election

  • Notice of Election means the one or more notices of election (in such form as the Manager may approve) which the Manager will, at its discretion, send to each Unitholder and through which each Unitholder may indicate whether they wish to participate in the Distribution Reinvestment Plan.

  • Form of Election has the meaning assigned in Section 3.3(b).

  • Stock Election shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.2.

  • Notice of Election to Purchase has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 15.1(b).

  • Mixed Election has the meaning set forth in Section 3.01(b)(iii).

  • e-voting means voting using either the internet, telephone or text message; “e-voting information” has the meaning set out in rule 24.2;

  • Primary election means any regular primary election held under the election

  • Non-Electing Share has the meaning specified in Section 12.11.

  • Dissenting Shareholder means any Company Shareholder who has properly exercised its Dissent Rights and has not withdrawn or been deemed to have withdrawn such Dissent Rights;

  • Bond election means an election held for the purpose of approving or rejecting

  • REMIC Election An election, for federal income tax purposes, to treat certain assets as a REMIC.

  • Non-Election Shares shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.1.

  • Dissenting Stockholder has the meaning set forth in Section 2.7.

  • Dissenting Holder means a registered Company Shareholder who has validly exercised Dissent Rights in accordance with Section 3.1 and has not withdrawn or been deemed to have withdrawn such exercise of Dissent Rights and who is ultimately entitled to be paid the fair value of the Company Shares held by such registered Company Shareholder.

  • Cash Election shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.2.

  • meeting of shareholders means an annual meeting of shareholders or a special meeting of shareholders;

  • by-election means a trustee election to fill a vacancy on the Board in any of the circumstances described in section 36 of the School Act.
