United Kingdom ship means a ship which—
United Kingdom ship means a ship registered in the United Kingdom under Part 2 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995.

  • This section applies to a person left behind on being discharged in pursuance of section 29, whether or not at the time he is left behind the ship is still a United Kingdom ship.

  • The following provisions of this section shall apply with respect to the liability of a seaman employed in a United Kingdom ship to damages for being absent from his ship at a time when he is required under his contract of employment to be on board.
