United States Environmental Protection Agency definition

United States Environmental Protection Agency or "U.S. EPA" means the administrator of the U.S. EPA or the administrator's duly authorized representative. The department authorizes the U.S. EPA to assist the department in implementing this rule by carrying out the functions set forth for the U.S. EPA in this rule.
