Environmental Laws and Regulations definition

Environmental Laws and Regulations means any applicable federal, state, local or foreign statute, law, rule, regulation, ordinance, code, policy or rule of common law or any judicial or administrative interpretation thereof, including any judicial or administrative order, consent, decree or judgment, relating to pollution or protection of human health, the environment or natural resources, including, without limitation, laws and regulations relating to the release or threatened release of chemicals, pollutants, contaminants, wastes, toxic substances, hazardous substances, petroleum or petroleum products, asbestos-containing materials or mold (collectively, “Hazardous Materials”) or to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport or handling of Hazardous Materials. Neither the Company nor its Subsidiaries has received notice of any actual or potential liability under or relating to, or actual or potential violation of, any Environmental Laws, including for the investigation or remediation of any release or threat of release of Hazardous Materials.

Environmental Laws and Regulations means any federal, state, local or foreign statute, law, rule, regulation, ordinance, code, policy or rule of common law or any judicial or administrative interpretation thereof, including any judicial or administrative order, consent, decree or judgment, relating to pollution or protection of human health, the environment (including, without limitation, ambient air, surface water, groundwater, land surface or subsurface strata) or wildlife, including, without limitation, laws and regulations relating to the release or threatened release of chemicals, pollutants, contaminants, wastes, toxic substances, hazardous substances, petroleum or petroleum products, asbestos-containing materials or mold (collectively, “Hazardous Materials”) or to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport or handling of Hazardous Materials.

(“RCRA”); the Toxic Substances Control Act, 15 U.S.C.A. §2601 et seq.; Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act of 1986 (42 U.S.C.A. §1101 et seq.); Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C.A. §7401 et seq.) (“CAA”); Federal Water Pollution Control Act and amendments (33 U.S.C.A. §1251 et seq.) Environmental Laws and Regulations means and includes the Federal Comprehensive Environmental Compensation Response and Liability Act (“CERCLA” or the “Federal Superfund Act”) as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Actof 1986 (“SARA”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 9601 et seq.; the Federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (“RCRA”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 6901 et seq.; the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. § 1321 et seq.; and the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 7401 et seq., all as the same may be from time to time amended, and any other federal, State, county, municipal, local or other statute, code, law, ordinance, regulation, requirement or rule which may relate to or deal with human health or the environment including without limitation all regulations promulgated by a regulatory body pursuant to any such statute, code, law or ordinance.
