US Nexus definition

US Nexus means where there is any US involvement or connection, including (without limitation): (i) any US dollar denominated transaction; (ii) any payment in any currency that is cleared through the US financial system, including foreign branches of US banks, and US branches, agency or representative offices or US accounts of non-US financial institutions; and (iii) any US Person, including US financial institutions, foreign branches of US banks, and US branches, agency or representative offices or US accounts of non-US financial institutions.
US Nexus. , means for the purpose of this policy standard, all US persons, US currency and US products/services.
US Nexus means all circumstances in which a US interest or US involvement applies, including (without limitation):• any US dollar payment or payment in another currency that is cleared through the US or that utilises the US financial system;• any US Person, including US financial institutions (and their foreign branches); and• any US‐origin goods, including non US‐origin goods that contain certain levels of US‐origin goods or technology or that are based on US‐origin goods or technology.

Examples of US Nexus in a sentence

  • Upon such a finding, the registrant shall be given a total of thirty (30) days to cure the US Nexus deficiency.

  • Without limiting the foregoing, the Registration Agreement shall require each Registrant to certify, under penalty of perjury, that it has, and shall continue to have, a bona fide U.S. Nexus in order to qualify to register and maintain its use of a Registered Name.

  • It shall be a continuing requirement that all usTLD domain name registrants maintain the US Nexus Requirement.

  • CSDCC means the China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd. “CSRC” means the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

  • Domestic Corporation means an entity that is treated as a corporation for United States federal income tax purposes and is a U.S. Tax Person.

  • Ontario Health means the corporation without share capital under the name Ontario Health as continued under the CCA;

  • Domestic Foreign Holding Company means any Domestic Subsidiary that is a disregarded entity for U.S. federal income tax purposes with no material assets other than Equity Interests and/or Indebtedness of one or more Foreign Subsidiaries and other assets incidental thereto.

  • foreign firm means a business entity owned or controlled by one or more foreign nationals or a business entity in which more than 50 percent of the stock is owned or controlled by one or more foreign nationals.

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX means LOCKHEED XXXXXX CORPORATION, acting through its companies or business units as identified on the face of this Contract. If a subsidiary or affiliate of LOCKHEED XXXXXX CORPORATION is identified on the face of this Contract, then "LOCKHEED XXXXXX" means that subsidiary or affiliate.

  • Intel means Intel Corporation, a Delaware corporation.

  • Nexus means that a partnership’s business activity is of such a degree that the state or foreign country has jurisdic- tion to impose an income tax or franchise tax measured by net income. Under Public Law 86-272, a state can’t impose an income tax or franchise tax based on net income on a partnership selling tangible personal property if the part- nership’s only activity in the state is the solicitation of or- ders, which orders are approved outside the state and are filled by delivery from a point outside the state.

  • Australian Regional Health Group means a collective of regional health funds that negotiates hospital purchaser provider agreements with providers and monitors the registration process of relevant general treatment providers.

  • Asynchronous store and forward means the transmission of a patient's medical information from an originating site to the health care provider for telehealth at a distant site without the presence of the patient.

  • NEC Electronics as used in this statement means NEC Electronics Corporation and also includes its majority-owned subsidiaries.

  • ITA means the Income Tax Act (Canada).

  • Mobile food vendor means every corporation, association, joint stock association, person, firm or partnership, their lessees, directors, receivers, trustees, appointees by any court whatsoever, or the heirs, executors, administrators, or personal representatives or assignees of any deceased owner, owning, controlling, operating or managing any mobile food vending unit.

  • Foreign nonprofit corporation means an entity:

The terms “parent,” “subsidiary,” “affiliate,” and “joint venture” refer to any person in which there is majority (greater than 50 percent) or total ownership or control between the company and any other person.

  • Mobile Service means the mobile service we provide to you enabling you to use and receive a range of mobile services including, but not limited to, messaging services, age restricted services and premium services.

  • Public Works Director means the Director of the Department of Public Works of the County of Los Angeles.

  • Motorola means Motorola, Inc., a Delaware corporation.

  • Spectrum Compatibility means the capability of two (2) copper loop transmission system technologies to coexist in the same cable without service degradation and to operate satisfactorily in the presence of cross talk noise from each other. Spectrum compatibility is defined on a per twisted pair basis for specific well-defined transmission systems. For the purposes of issues regarding Spectrum Compatibility, service degradation means the failure to meet the Bit Error Ratio (BER) and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) margin requirements defined for the specific transmission system for all Loop lengths, model Loops, or loss values within the requirements for the specific transmission system.

  • Digital Health refers to the use of digital and virtual tools, products, technologies, data, and services that enable improved patient experience and population health outcomes, care quality, access, integration, coordination, and system sustainability when they are leveraged by patients, providers and integrated care teams;

  • AT&T SOUTHEAST REGION 9-STATE means the AT&T owned ILEC(s) doing business in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

  • Xxxxxx Group shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.2(b) hereof.

  • Xxxxxxx Group means (a) any member of the Xxxxxxx Family and (b) any Related Person of any such member.

  • Commercial Mobile Radio Service or "CMRS" means commercial mobile radio service regulated under section 3 of title I and section 332 of title III of the communications act of 1934, chapter 652, 48 Stat 1064, 47 USC 153 and 332, and the rules of the Federal Communications Commission or provided under the wireless emergency service order. Commercial mobile radio service or CMRS includes all of the following:

  • Non-Wholly Owned Subsidiary means, as to any Person, each Subsidiary of such Person which is not a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of such Person.
