Verification of Identity definition

Verification of Identity means confirmation of clients KYC.
Verification of Identity means the procedure to verify the identity of the customer, proxy or other authorized representative in accordance with Subsections (4)-(6) of Section 7, and to verify the identity of the beneficial owner in accordance with Subsection (5) of Section 8;

Verification of Identity means: procedures that reporting units specify for their customers to show their identity every time by giving evidence or documents in order to verify their identity as legally correct before giving service or creating business relationships, which may be individuals, legal entities or organizations both domestic and foreign as specified in Article 7 of this agreement;

  • User Identification means any unique user name (i.e., a series of characters) that is assigned to a person or entity by the Insured.

  • Taxpayer Identification Number or “TIN” shall mean the Internal Revenue Service term for identification in the administration of tax laws, which includes the Social Security Number (“SSN”) and/or Employer Identification Number (“EIN”).

  • Automatic Location Identification Gateway or "ALI Gateway" is a computer facility into which CLEC delivers Automatic Location Identification (ALI) data for CLEC Customers. Access to the ALI Gateway will be via a dial-up modem using a common protocol. "Automatic Number Identification" or "ANI" is the Billing telephone number associated with the access line from which a call originates. ANI and Calling Party Number (CPN) usually are the same number. "Automatic Route Selection" or "ARS" is a service feature that provides for automatic selection of the least expensive or most appropriate transmission facility for each call based on criteria programmed into a circuit Switch routing table or system.
