Taxpayer Identification Number definition

Taxpayer Identification Number or “TIN” shall mean the Internal Revenue Service term for identification in the administration of tax laws, which includes the Social Security Number (“SSN”) and/or Employer Identification Number (“EIN”).

Taxpayer Identification Number means the tax identification number (TIN) allocated to a person by the tax administration of the jurisdiction of residence of the person and, in relation to the State, means a tax reference number within the meaning of section 885.

Taxpayer Identification Number means a number assigned to a person in the country or territory in which he is resident for tax purposes and includes a functional equivalent in case no such number is assigned.
