Vessel Owner definition

Vessel Owner means any special purpose company that owns a Collateral Vessel and the entire issued share capital of which is acquired or to be acquired by the Borrower.

Vessel Owner or "operator" means the owner, operator, master, or person-in-charge of a vessel.

Vessel Owner has the meaning given to it in the recitals.

Vessel Owner means any ownership interest in a vessel, including interests arising from partnerships, corporations, limited liability corporations, or limited liability partnerships. A vessel owner does not include a leasehold interest.¶

IF THE VESSEL OWNER IS AN ENTITY, THEN THE SINGLE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY/PERSON IDENTIFIED IN EXHIBIT A SHALL AT ALL TIMES BE AT LEAST A TWENTY PERCENT (20%) LEGAL EQUITY OWNER OF THE VESSEL, PROVIDED THAT IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY OTHER CO-EQUITY OWNER OF THE VESSEL OWNER HOLD A LEGAL INTEREST IN THE VESSEL THAT IS GREATER THAN SUCH AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY/PERSON’S. FOR PURPOSES OF THIS AGREEMENT, EACH EQUITY OWNER SHALL BEAR ALL THE RESPONSIBILITES OF A VESSEL OWNER.

Vessel Owner means the actual or registered owner, master, managing agent, person in navigational control of, or other person responsible for the operation of the vessel.
