Visibility protection area definition

Visibility protection area means any area listed in 40 CFR 81.401–81.436 (1984).
Visibility protection area means any of the mandatory Federal Class I areas listed below. These areas are those mandatory Federal Class I areas where visibility values may be impacted by sources in Tennessee:

  • Wellhead protection area means the surface and subsurface area surrounding a water well or well field that supplies a public water system through which contaminants are reasonably likely to migrate toward the water well or well field.

  • Fire Protection means all aspects of fire safety including but not limited to fire prevention, firefighting or Fire Suppression, pre-fire planning, fire investigation, public education and information, training or other staff development;

  • Cathodic protection tester means a person who can demonstrate an understanding of the principles and measurements of all common types of cathodic protection systems as applied to buried or submerged metal piping and tank systems. At a minimum, such persons must have education and experience in soil resistivity, stray current, structure-to-soil potential, and component electrical isolation measurements of buried metal piping and tank systems.

  • Building system means plans, specifications and docu- mentation for a system of manufactured building or for a type or a system of building components, which may include structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and variations which are sub- mitted as part of the building system.
