Examples of Visiting Appointments in a sentence
There shall be no more than five (5) Special Visiting Appointments in an Academic Year.
Special Visiting Appointments shall be for a period not to exceed one (1) year and are not renewable.
The definition of a Visiting Scholar, and the conditions applicable to their appointment as such, are governed by the Visiting Appointments at Carleton University Policy under the responsibility of the Office of the Xxxxxxx and Vice-President (Academic) and approved by the Academic and Research Committee.

For clarity: the Parties agree that Visiting Appointments, Emeritus Professors, and Adjunct Appointees are not employees of the University and thus do not fall within the scope of the bargaining unit unless they hold a contract or an additional appointment that falls within the scope of the bargaining unit.
