Wall Street Journal Prime definition

Wall Street Journal Prime means the per annum rate of interest identified as the “Prime Rate” as published each day in The Wall Street Journal. If The Wall Street Journal ceases to be published or if it ceases to publish a Prime Rate, then Lender will choose a substitute prime rate. If the Wall Street Journal Prime is published as a range of rates, the highest rate will be considered the Wall Street Journal Prime for the purposes of this Note. On such days that The Wall Street Journal is not published (such as holidays and weekends), the Wall Street Journal Prime shall be the Wall Street Journal Prime stated in the most recently published edition of The Wall Street Journal.
Wall Street Journal Prime means that rate of interest as recorded by the Wall Street Journal as the prime rate for the United States and designated as such in the “Money Rates” Section of the Wall Street Journal with the rate of interest to change when and as said prime lending rate changes.
Wall Street Journal Prime means that rate of interest that is subject to increase or decrease from time to time based on corresponding increases or decreases in the Prime Rate as published in the Wall Street Journal . When a range of rates has been published, the higher of the rates will be used.

  • The published Wall Street Journal Prime Rate shall be determined using such rate that is published closest to the 1st of the month for each month of the late period.

Wall Street Journal Prime means the "prime rate" quoted by The Wall Street Journal as the national average base rate on loans posted by at least 75% of the nation's largest banks. Other words used herein, which are capitalized, shall have the definitions prescribed herein. Variations of words defined herein shall have the same meaning as the defined terms.
Wall Street Journal Prime means that rate of interest that is subject to increase or decrease from time to time based on corresponding increases or decreases in the Prime Rate as published in the Wall Street Journal. When a range of rates has been published, the higher of the rates will be used. Unused fees on the daily amount undrawn under the Revolving Line of Credit shall accrue at the rate of 1/4 of 1% per annum payable quarterly. Any letters of credit issued pursuant to this Agreement shall bear interest at the rate of 1/2 of 1% per quarter on any part thereof, plus standard issuing fees.”
Wall Street Journal Prime means the prime rate or base rate on corporate loans posted by at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the nation's thirty largest banks as published in The Wall Street Journal (Midwest edition), on the last business day prior to the date a rental is due. For example, if on the last business day prior to the due date of a rental, Wall Street Journal Prime is eight percent (8%) and the Applicable Base Amount at such time is $1,500,000, then such rental due shall be $51,250 ($40,000 + (1,500,000 × .0075).

"Alternate Treasury Bill Rate" on any date means the Interest Equivalent of the yield as calculated by reference to the arithmetic average of the bid price quotations of the actively traded Treasury Bill with a maturity most nearly comparable to the length of the related Dividend Period, as determined by bid price quotations as of any time on the Business Day immediately preceding such date, obtained from at least three recognized primary U.S. Government securities dealers selected by the Auction Agent.

  • Treasury Index Rate means the average yield to maturity for actively traded marketable U.S. Treasury fixed interest rate securities having the same number of 30-day periods to maturity as the length of the applicable Dividend Period, determined, to the extent necessary, by linear interpolation based upon the yield for such securities having the next shorter and next longer number of 30-day periods to maturity treating all Dividend Periods with a length greater than the longest maturity for such securities as having a length equal to such longest maturity, in all cases based upon data set forth in the most recent weekly statistical release published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (currently in H.15 (519)); provided, however, if the most recent such statistical release shall not have been published during the 15 days preceding the date of computation, the foregoing computations shall be based upon the average of comparable data as quoted to the Trust by at least three recognized dealers in U.S. government securities selected by the Trust.

  • Financial Markets means international financial markets in which currency and other financial assets exchange rates are determined in multi-party trade.

  • LIBOR Market Index Rate means, for any day, LIBOR as of that day that would be applicable for a LIBOR Loan having a one-month Interest Period determined at approximately 10:00 a.m. Central time for such day (rather than 11:00 a.m. (London time) two Business Days prior to the first day of such Interest Period as otherwise provided in the definition of “LIBOR”), or if such day is not a Business Day, the immediately preceding Business Day. The LIBOR Market Index Rate shall be determined on a daily basis.

  • Prime Rate means the rate of interest per annum publicly announced from time to time by JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. as its prime rate in effect at its principal office in New York City; each change in the Prime Rate shall be effective from and including the date such change is publicly announced as being effective.

  • Wall means a contiguous, physical wall or other similarly secure, contiguous, and impassable physical barrier.

  • Eurodollar Market means a regular established market located outside the United States of America by and among banks for the solicitation, offer and acceptance of Dollar deposits in such banks.

  • Benchmark Rate means, with respect to any Redemption Date, the rate per annum equal to the annual equivalent yield to maturity or interpolated maturity of the Comparable Benchmark Issue (as defined below), assuming a price for the Comparable Benchmark Issue (expressed as a percentage of its principal amount) equal to the Comparable Benchmark Price for such Redemption Date.

  • Student journalist means a student who gathers, writes, edits, photographs, records, video tapes, or prepares information for dissemination in student media.

  • U.S. Treasury Rate means, with respect to any Remaining Distribution Amount, a rate determined one Business Day prior to the Optional Repurchase Distribution Date that is equal to the U.S. Treasury rate on such date (determined by reference to Bloomberg Financial Markets Commodities News) with a maturity equal to the period from such Optional Repurchase Distribution Date to the Applicable Distribution Date with respect to such Remaining Distribution Amount (or, if such maturity is unavailable, such rate shall be determined by linear interpolation using the U.S. Treasury rates with the two closest maturities to such period).

  • Reuters Screen US PRIME 1 Page” means the display on the Reuter Monitor Money Rates Service (or any successor service) on the “US PRIME 1” page (or any other page as may replace that page on that service) for the purpose of displaying prime rates or base lending rates of major United States banks.

  • SIFMA Index means the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Municipal Swap Index, produced by Municipal Market Data, or if such index is not published, then such other index selected by the Treasurer which reflects the yield of tax-exempt seven-day variable rate demand bonds.

  • NYFRB Rate means the rate for a federal funds transaction quoted at 11:00 a.m. on such day received to the Administrative Agent from a Federal funds broker of recognized standing selected by it; provided, further, that if any of the aforesaid rates shall be less than zero, such rate shall be deemed to be zero for purposes of this Agreement.

  • Real-time Energy Market means the purchase or sale of energy and payment of Transmission Congestion Charges for quantity deviations from the Day-ahead Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Prime Rate Spread means the difference (expressed as the number of basis points) between (a) LIBOR plus the Spread on the date LIBOR was last applicable to the Loan and (b) the Prime Rate on the date that LIBOR was last applicable to the Loan; provided, however, in no event shall such difference be a negative number.

  • Central Bank Rate Spread means, with respect to any RFR Banking Day, the difference (expressed as a percentage rate per annum) (calculated by the Administrative Agent) between: (i) XXXXX for that RFR Banking Day; and (ii) the Central Bank Rate prevailing at the close of business on that RFR Banking Day.

  • T-Bill Rate means, for any Quarterly Floating Rate Period, the average yield expressed as a percentage per annum on three-month Government of Canada Treasury Bills, as reported by the Bank of Canada, for the most recent treasury bills auction preceding the applicable Floating Rate Calculation Date.

  • Bank Bill Rate ’, for an Interest Period, means the average mid rate for Bills having a tenor closest to the Interest Period as displayed on the ‘‘BBSW’’ page of the Reuters Monitor System on the first day of that Interest Period as determined by the Calculation Agent.

  • Reuters Screen US PRIME 1 Page means the display on the “US PRIME 1” page on the Reuters 3000 Xtra service, or any successor service, or any replacement page or pages on that service, for the purpose of displaying prime rates or base lending rates of major U.S. banks.

  • Real-time System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Office of the Interconnection’s dispatch of the PJM Interchange Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Bloomberg Screen SOFRRATE Page means the Bloomberg screen designated “SOFRRATE” or any successor page or service;

  • Reference Rate means the rate specified as such hereon.

  • CMS Rate means the applicable swap rate for swap transactions in the Reference Currency with a maturity of the Designated Maturity, expressed as a percentage, which appears on the Relevant Screen Page as at the Specified Time on the relevant Interest Determination Date in question, all as determined by the Calculation Agent.
