Waters of the Reservation definition

Waters of the Reservation means any accumulation of water, surface and underground, natural and artificial, public and private, or parts thereof which are wholly or partially within, flow through, or border upon the Oneida Reservation. “Waters of the Reservation” includes wetlands, as that term is defined in Section 409.3-21, below.
Waters of the Reservation means all streams, lakes, ponds, marshes, watercourses, waterways, wells, springs, irrigation systems, drainage systems, and all other bodies or accumulations of water, surface and underground, natural or artificial, public or private, which are contained within, flow through, or border upon this federal Indian reservation or any portion thereof, except that bodies of water confined to and retained within the limits of private property which do not develop into or constitute a nuisance, or a public health hazard, or a menace to fish and wildlife, shall not be considered to be "waters of the reservation" under this definition.
Waters of the Reservation and “reservation waters” means all water that lies, flows, arises, or otherwise occurs on or under the reservation.

  • Two important milestones in the CWRMP development were the January 2004 adoption of the Lummi Nation Water Resources Protection Code (Title 17 of the Lummi Code of Laws) and the August 2007 adoption of the Water Quality Standards for Surface Waters of the Reservation (Lummi Nation Water Quality Standards; 17 LAR 07), which the EPA approved in September 2008.

  • Waters of the Reservation are assigned designated uses to serve the purposes of the Clean Water Act, as defined at sections 101(a)(2) and 303(c) which means that water quality standards should provide, wherever attainable, water quality for the protection of fish, shellfish, and wildlife, recreation in and on the water, as well as considering the use and value of waters for public water supplies, industrial purposes and navigation.

Waters of the Reservation means lakes, bays, ponds, impounding reservoirs, springs, wells, rivers, streams, creeks, marshes, wetlands, inlets, canals, and all other bodies of surface or underground water, natural or artificial, inland, fresh, public or private (except those private waters which do not combine or effect a junction with natural surface or underground waters), which are within the Reservation, located in the State of Oregon.
Waters of the Reservation means all lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, inland waters, underground waters, salt waters, and all other surface water, groundwater and watercourses located within the Colville Indian Reservation.

"Waters of the Reservation" includes wetlands as that term is defined at 40 C.F.R. § 230.3(t), and the Shoreline Waters.

  • Drainage means the movement of water to a place of disposal, whether by way of the natural characteristics of the ground surface or by artificial means;

Buyer shall be responsible for any requests or documents to transfer the Utility Reservations, at Buyer’s sole cost and expense.

  • Tanks has the meaning set forth in Section 4.12(b).
