WSIB definition

WSIB means the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario.
WSIB means the State Investment Board of the state of Washington, any division, section, office, unit or other entity of the WSIB, or any of the Board members, officers or other officials lawfully representing the WSIB.

Examples of WSIB in a sentence

  • If the Employee has a recurrence of the same illness or injury, s/he is required to apply to reopen the previous LTD or WSIB claim, as applicable.

  • All written notices pursuant to this section must contain sufficient information about the change for the WSIB to evaluate the possible effects on Contractor’s provision of services hereunder.

  • A Teacher is eligible for the full allocation of sick leave and STLDP regardless of start date of employment or date of return to work from any leave other than sick leave, WSIB or LTD.

  • Where a Teacher is accessing STLDP, WSIB, or LTD in the current school year as a result of an absence due to the same illness or injury that continued from the previous school year and has returned to work at less than their FTE, the Teacher will continue to access any unused sick leave days or STLDP days from the previous school year’s allocation.

  • The Board is responsible for all costs associated with its workplace accidents and all premiums or assessments owing to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), or insurance company if applicable for its own employees.
