Youth Apprenticeship program. }“Youth apprenticeship” means a program or set of strategies {where a participant under the age of 18 learns and works with registered standards to learn a set of skills that result in the participant qualifying for a state license or certification, earning industry recognized credentials at the completion of the apprenticeship, or preparing to participate in}that combines academic and technical classroom instruction with work experience through an apprenticeship program and which provides the foundation for youth in high school to choose among multiple pathways, including enrolling in college, beginning full-time employment, or a combination of college and employment.
Youth Apprenticeship program means a program registered by the Department as provided in section 1124, youth apprenticeship programs, of this title or, as applicable, by the federal Office of Apprenticeship.
