Contractor's superintendence and representative on the works. The Contractor shall give all necessary personal superintendence during the execution of the works and so long thereafter as the Employer may consider necessary until the expiration of the "Defects Liability Period" stated in the Appendix hereto. The contractor shall, also during the whole time the works are in progress employ a competent representative who shall be constantly in attendance at the works while the men are to work. Any directions, explanations, instructions or notice given by the Bank's Engineer to such representative shall be held to be given to the Contractor. 9)
