STONE WORK a. Granite / Marble Stone: Stone shall be hard, sound homogenous in texture with crystalline texture and shall be uniform in colour free stains, cracks, decay and weathering. The quality of the marble shall be as specified and approved by the Institute/ Committee/In-charge. The slab shall be cut to the required shape and size, fine, chisel dressed on all sides to the full depth. The surfaces shall be machine rubbed or table rubbed and all edges and angles shall be true, square and free from chipping. The laying, curing polishing and finishing shall be as per relevant IS specifications for colour / texture / finish. 2.
