Common use of Repatriation of the corpse Clause in Contracts

Repatriation of the corpse. In case of death of the Insured, the Insurance Company shall arrange for the corpse to be repatriated to Hungary and cover the related costs up to EUR 100.000. In case of group travel (group: 10 or more persons), the limit is max. 2.5 million EUR/group. Without the prior consent of the Insurer the costs of arranged repatriation will not be reimbursed. To enable the Insurance Company to organize the repatriation the relative of the Insured shall obtain and present to the Insurance Company the following documents within the shortest possible time: – birth certificate, – certificate of marriage, eventually the death certificate of the spouse, – admission declaration by the cemetery, – death certificate, – official certificate or certificate of the physician on the reason of the death, – in case of possibility of accidental death, the autopsy report, – in the event of accidental death, documents necessary for the clarification of the circumstances of the death, – formal record minuted abroad, – autopsy report, – post-mortem examination certificate.
