Filament Power Supply. The current must be stabilised within ± 1%. The high voltage pulsed power and the RF power can be applied only after 1 hour preheating period of the filament. If the minimum threshold is exceeded, the RF power and the high voltage pulsed power supply must be turned off to prevent beam interception damage. If the maximum threshold is exceeded, the cathode heater must also be turned off to prevent cathode damage. The filament power supply specifications are given in Table 4.
