Focusing Electromagnet. The procurement must include the focusing electromagnet Canon VT-68954 (or equivalent) specified to use with the high-power klystron E37217. This magnet should provide the proper shaped field to properly operate the klystron at nominal parameters i.e. maximum power and repetition rate. The oil tank supports the klystron, and it will contain the gun and all high voltage elements of the modulator. The oil to be used is preferably Nytro 10XN. The tank shall be equipped with an expansion tank to control the oil level. A cooling system can be included to keep the oil temperature under 50 °C. The modulator shall include an additional retention tray in case of leakage from the main tank.
