DURING YOUR CYCLING TRIP Voorbeeldclausules

DURING YOUR CYCLING TRIP. Keep both hands on the handlebars. • Stay alert, do not allow yourself to be distracted. • Use the generally accepted hand signals to show which way you are turning. Do not make any movements with the bicycle that could endanger others. • Moderate your speed and brake sooner when going down a hill. • When braking hard, never use only the front brake, but both brakes. Only using the front brake could cause the front wheel to stop too quickly, which could result in your going over the handlebars. • When taking a sharp bend with an electric bicycle with a front motor, do not continue pedalling until the bicycle is fully pointed in the desired direction. This will prevent the bicycle from sliding out from under you. • Do not transport any objects that obstruct your sight or affect your stability. • Ensure that the maximum bearing capacity of the front and/or back carrier is not exceeded by carrying objects or people. The maximum bearing capacity is printed on your carrier. If you have doubts about your carrier's maximum bearing capacity you should consult your Cortina dealer. Luggage carriers are not suitable for transporting people. • Do not have yourself towed or propelled by other vehicles. • If you come off your bicycle, always check it carefully for damage. The handlebars should always be replaced after a fall, even if no visible damage has been caused. Invisible damage could also lead to a breakage in the course of time. We advise you to have your bicycle checked by your Cortina dealer if you have an accident.
DURING YOUR CYCLING TRIP. Keep both hands on the handlebars and don’t be distracted. • Do not have yourself towed or propelled by other vehicles. • Use your hand to indicate a change of direction so other road users know where you’re going. • Adjust your speed and brake a little sooner when you go downhill. When you need to brake hard, use both brakes, never just the front brakes. • Remember the maximum weight capacity of the racks on the bike, you can always ask the Alpina dealer if you have any questions. Luggage carriers are not suitable for transporting people. • Do not carry any heavy objects on your bicycle. Heavy objects can unbalance your bike, require a longer braking distance and even cause damage to the bike. • If the bike fell over, check whether there is any damage to the bike. It is best to ask an Alpina dealer to check this. We recommend you replace the handlebars after a fall, even if there was no visible damage. Invisible damage could also lead to a breakage in the course of time.
