This paper aims to identify the main implications of the recent change of item III of Precedent 244 of the Tribunal Superior do Trabalho - TST, with regard to the stability of the pregnant woman in fixed-term contract. Therefore, a study will be done on constitutional and jurisprudential provisional stability of the pregnant woman. After, the trials will be presented prior to the amendment of the Precedent, with special emphasis on international standards and positioning that had been adopted by the Supreme Court. Therefore shall identify the potential impact of extended warranty contracts to employment agreements, to, finally, critically, be presented arguments for and against.
