Section 8.2.5. 33 Security personnel may cash out vacation leave on non-school attendance days, winter and 34 spring break or summer vacation, provided however, that requests for vacation leave may be 35 approved at other times as mutually agreed between the employee and the employee's 36 supervisor. Vacation time for security personnel will be calculated at the end of each year 37 based on hours worked during that school year for use or cash out the following year. 38 39 Section 8.3. Annual Leave Sharing.
Section 8.2.5. 46 All hours worked will be counted in the computation of vacation credit, and hours worked at 47 premium rates shall be counted as straight time hours in such computation.
Section 8.2.5. 42 Except as provided in the following section, any vacation credit currently due but unused by the 43 new accrual date each year may be carried over for one (1) year following the accrual date with 44 the approval of the immediate supervisor and administration. No vacation may be carried over 45 for more than one (1) year beyond the date on which it became due; provided, however, no 46 employee shall be denied accrued vacation benefits due to District employment needs.
Section 8.2.5. 47 Any employee who is discharged or who terminates employment shall receive payment for 48 unused accrued vacation up to thirty (30) days with their final paycheck.
Section 8.2.5. 41 Employees may not schedule vacation during the period beginning one (1) week prior to the first 42 day of school and ending one (1) week after the first day of school as well as the period beginning 43 one (1) week prior to the last day of school and ending one (1) week after the last day of school. 44 45 46 47 1 3 4
Section 8.2.5. 44 Shall a less than full-time employee take a full-time position, all hours worked in the previous 45 year shall count toward vacation accrual. 47 48 3
Section 8.2.5. 7 It is agreed that for purposes of vacation accrual, such accrual shall take place on September 1st of 8 each year.
Section 8.2.5. 29 For every regular workday from which an employee is absent on sick leave, bereavement leave, 30 emergency leave, or due to a holiday, the hours of the employee’s normal work shift shall be 31 credited for computing vacation credit as if worked.
Section 8.2.5. 40 It is also mutually agreed that vacations for annual employees shall be scheduled at the request 41 of the employee unless such vacation time would disrupt the normal activities of the District. 44 45
