Common use of A/E’s Submittal Review Clause in Contracts

A/E’s Submittal Review. The A/E shall review submittals for conformity with design intent within 14 days of receiving them or in accordance with the approved submittal schedule, or other period as mutually agreed by the A/E and the Contractor. The A/E’s review of submittals is to determine if the items covered by the submittals will, after installation and incorporation into the Work, conform to the Contract Documents and be compatible with the design concept of the Project as a functioning whole.
