Abandoned Dogs. No Pets may be left after the scheduled pick up time without communication from you. According to the statutory abandonment provisions (Sections 1834.5 and 1834.6 of the Civil Code), if an animal is not picked up within 14 days after it was due to be picked up, the animal is considered to be abandoned. YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF YOU ABANDON YOUR DOG AT CHAH, YOU MAY BE UNABLE TO RETRIEVE POSSESSION OF YOUR DOG AND WILL HAVE NO RECOURSE AGAINST CHAH.
Abandoned Dogs. Owner understands and agrees that if his or her Dog is not picked up within seven (7) calendar days after the scheduled pickup date, the Dog shall be deemed to be abandoned and additional boarding charges shall apply, and in such event, Dogward shall gain legal custody and ownership of the Dog and retain the right to keep the Dog or place the Dog in a shelter or with animal control, or place the Dog in a new home with a new owner, with no recourse by Owner against Dogward or any Dogward Party. Owner FULLY UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT IF OWNER ABANDONS HIS OR HER DOG AT THE DOGWARD FACILITY, OWNER MAY BE UNABLE TO RETRIEVE POSSESSION OF HIS OR HER DOG AND WILL HAVE NO RECOURSE AGAINST ANY DOGWARD PARTY.
Abandoned Dogs. For Paws Unleashed is a place where all dogs are loved and can romp and play. No guest may be abandoned at FPU. I agree that I will not neglect to pick up my pet from FPU by the time he/ she is scheduled to leave without providing notification. Any guest that is left at FPU without any contact, instructions or notification from me, of the ability, willingness or plans to pick him/ her up by myself or by my personal representative or agent, will be considered abandoned upon the seventh day of such notification failure. I understand that if I abandon my Pet at For Paws Unleashed, FPU will, by default, become the legal owner and guardian of the pet. FPU will, in its sole discretion, determine whether to try to re-home and adopt the pet from the For Paws Unleashed location at which he/she was abandoned or will relinquish the pet to an unrelated shelter of FPU’s choice. I FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF I ABANDON MY PET AT FOR PAWS UNLEASHED, I MAY BE UNABLE TO RETRIEVE POSSESSION OF MY PET AND WILL HAVE NO RECOURSE AGAINST FPU. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT FPU SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION, DUTY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT ME, OR TRY TO CONTACT ME, SHOULD I FAIL TO PICK UP MY PET, AND SHOULD I FAIL TO PICK UP MY PET, I SHALL HAVE NO SAY IN WHERE FPU PLACES MY FORMER PET, WHAT PERSON OR SHELTER MY FORMER PET IS RELINQUISHED TO OR WHO ADOPTS MY FORMER PET.
Abandoned Dogs. 1.7.a. The Customer agrees that if their dog is not collected from Day Care at the end of the day, additional fees will apply and shall be paid on collection. If Oscars Daycare Centre are unable to contact the Customer or the Customer's Emergency Contact for 7 (seven) days, it is assumed that the dog has been abandoned and arrangements for re-homing will be made.
