Where ‘abroad’ is mentioned in this agreement, what is meant is working under this dispensation scheme on the Dutch Continental Shelf, including the Western Scheldt and excluding the Wadden Sea. Trade Union: One of the trade unions participating in this agreement. Employee: Anyone residing in the Netherlands, employed on a trailer suction xxxxxx dredger and, based on an employment contract according to Dutch law, is in the service of the employer and who falls under the scope of the ‘CBA concerning wage and employment conditions for staff active in the dredging industry’, irrespective of the flag applicable. Employment: Deploying an employee without his/her family to a trailer suction xxxxxx dredger on a project on the Dutch Continental Shelf based on the deployment conditions.
