Shiftworkers. 35.1 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who performs Shiftwork and who starts or finishes a shift outside of the ordinary hours set out at clause 34.2 above.
Shiftworkers. (i) A shift worker, when going on shift, changing shift or returning to day work shall have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty on completion of the day work, shift and any overtime and shall not suffer any loss of pay for any ordinary time, or any ordinary shift time as is appropriate in the circumstances for any such off duty period.
Shiftworkers. 36.1 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who performs Shiftwork and who starts or finishes a shift outside of the ordinary hours set out at clause 35.2 above.
36.2 A Shiftworker shall be paid at the rate of double time for all hours worked.
36.3 An Employee who has to work Shiftwork shall be given at least 48 hours of notice of the requirements to work shiftwork.
36.4 For clarity, Shiftwork, means work comprising recurring periods in which different groups of workers do the same jobs in rotation; the different groups of workers do not necessarily need to be employed by the same employer for the purpose of this definition.
Shiftworkers. For employees whose duties do not permit the working of straight day duty as shown in clause 16.3.1, the following shift conditions will apply:
Shiftworkers. The ordinary hours of duty of employees required to work shift duty shall not exceed 36.75 per week or an average of 36.75 over a cycle of shifts.
Shiftworkers. Employees who work a roster that includes at least 10 Sundays or public holidays over a 12-month period accrue Additional Annual leave at the rate of one week per annum from the first full fortnight.
Shiftworkers. 45.2.1. A shiftworker is entitled to the greater (in dollar terms) of the seventeen and a half percent (17.5%) leave loading prescribed in clause 45.1, or the employee’s projected shift penalty at 1 January in the year in which the employee is paid annual leave loading.
Shiftworkers. For the purposes of clause 60.8(d), a shiftworker may access personal leave without providing documentary evidence up to a maximum of the employee’s weekly ordinary hours or five shifts whichever is the greater, provided that no more than three of those shifts may be consecutive working days.
