Common use of Absence of the Parents Clause in Contracts

Absence of the Parents. When all the Parents will be absent from the Student's home overnight or for a 24-hour period or longer, the Parents are required to nominate a 'responsible adult' for the School to contact during your absence. This person will have delegated authority to make decisions relating to the child. The Principal/Head of Division must be notified in writing the name, address and telephone number for 24-hour contact with the responsible adult who will have the care of the Student.
