Educational visits. A variety of educational visits will be provided for the pupils. They are in general at additional cost to the Parents, except in the case of primary pupils who are required to pay an advance currently of £70 for the school year. All educational visits will require Parents’ consent and will be subject to a separate agreement with the School.

In addition, students who have participated in projects to raise awareness, aspiration or attainment may be eligible for inclusion. The fund comprises £6,000 in the first year (2006/07), rising to £12,000 in the second year (2007/08), and £18,000 for subsequent years (when the new fee arrangements will apply to all enrolled students).

Trip Costs are set at the discretion of the School based on best‐value group rates at the time of booking, and include an element for supervision, travel, accommodation, ground arrangements, insurances, and other charges borne by the School to protect the Student's safety and welfare. Payment must be made in advance of the trip upon billing. The School reserves the right to exclude the Student from taking part in an educational visit while overdue fees remain unpaid.

Provide approval for educational excursions involving adventurous and overseas educational visits Undertake sample monitoring of excursions and trips Assist with risk assessments where required Assist with incident reporting and investigation Assist with monitoring and assisting staff with the EVOLVE system Provide training and support on use of the EVOLVE system to Educational Visits Coordinators Ensure that all educational visits comply with the Ceredigion County Council Educational Visits Policy. Notifying the LA of any overseas visits (at least 28 days before visit) Obtaining LA approval for any visits involving adventurous and overseas educational visits (at least 28 days before visit).

For non-subscribing establishments the cost for the full day course is £135 and the half day course is £80 per delegate.
