Absence Without Permission. (a) A Nurse who is absent from employment without permission for ten (10) consecutive days, shall be deemed to have resigned the Nurse’s position effective the first day of the absence. (b) The Nurse may be reinstated if the Nurse establishes to the satisfaction of the Employer, that the absence arose from a cause beyond the Nurse’s control and it was not possible for the Nurse to notify the Employer of the reason for the absence.
