Academic Annual Performance indicators. The annual negotiated Performance Framework includes three parts. One part is an Academic Framework. The Academic Framework looks at student performance. Failure to meet the standard(s) set forth in an Academic Performance Indicator is not a “material violation” as defined in XXXX 0000, §22-8B-12(K)(1). Rather it may be deemed a failure “to meet or make substantial progress toward achievement of the department’s minimum educational standards or student performance standards” (NMSA 1978, §22-8B-12(K)(2)) and may be assessed accordingly for purposes of nonrenewal or revocation.
