Common use of Academy Objectives Clause in Contracts

Academy Objectives. The goal of the Academy is to enhance the academic and athletic opportunities available to the School’s students beyond the regular school day. The Academy may include a variety of classes which will fall into three categories: (1) classes that directly support and advance students’ academic progress, such as homework support and academic tutoring; (2) classes that complement the school’s art, music and sports offerings; and (3) classes that broaden students’ exposure to interests and activities outside of the traditional academic setting. The Academy is intended to be self-sustaining, with revenues covering direct operating costs so that no additional costs accrue to the School or the PTA. As such, the Administrator, with the approval of the PTA, will manage academy costs and set class prices to parents (“Academy Fees”). Classes or vendors that are not deemed financially feasible or which do not xxxxxx adequate attendance, will not be offered or may be cancelled prior to the beginning of the session.
