Common use of Acceptance and Term of Employment Clause in Contracts

Acceptance and Term of Employment. (a) The Company agrees to employ Executive, and Executive agrees to serve the Company, on the terms and conditions set forth herein. The term of Executive’s employment shall commence on the Effective Date and continue until the third (3rd) anniversary of the Effective Date, unless earlier terminated pursuant to Section 8 hereof (the “Initial Term of Employment”): provided, that after the Initial Term of Employment, the Term of Employment shall automatically be extended for successive one (1) year renewal terms until Executive’s employment is terminated by either party pursuant to Section 8 hereof; provided, however, that either party may elect not to so extend this Agreement beyond the Initial Term of Employment or the then-current Term of Employment by giving written notice of non-renewal to the other party at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of such Term of Employment.
