Acceptance and Term of Employment. The Company agrees to employ Employee and Employee agrees to serve the Company on the terms and conditions set forth herein. Unless earlier terminated pursuant to Section 7 hereof, the Term of Employment shall commence on the Commencement Date and shall continue until the first (1st) anniversary of the Commencement Date; provided, however, that the Term of Employment shall be extended automatically, without further action by either the Company or Employee, by one (1) additional year first on such anniversary of the Commencement Date, and on each subsequent anniversary of the Commencement Date thereafter, unless, not less than thirty (30) days prior to the end of the Term of Employment (including any prior extension thereof), either the Company or Employee shall have notified the other in writing of its intention not to further extend the Term of Employment (a "Non-Extension Notice").
