Access to Files and Release of Personnel Information. A. The faculty member shall have access to his/her file at reasonable intervals and at reasonable times, with reasonable advance notice subject to the following restrictions: 1. The employee shall not have the right to inspect personnel records at a time when the employee is actually required to render services to the District. 2. The employee shall not have the right to inspect materials the access to which is specifically excluded by federal or state regulation or statute. B. Representatives of the Association shall have access at reasonable intervals and at reasonable times, with reasonable advance notice, to said file with the faculty member's written authorization. C. Management's access to a faculty member's personnel file shall be restricted to authorized administrators, authorized personnel office staff, and the faculty member's immediate supervisor.
