Accidental Breakage. Employees shall not be held liable for accidental breakage of glassware and fragile equipment during the course of their duties. Employees will be held liable for fragile equipment damaged or destroyed due to the employee’s misuse, careless handling or improper storage of Employer or resident property.

Accidental Breakage. The Chronocarpe Total Warranty covers the repair and/or replacement of the guaranteed equipment up to the purchase value (including VAT) of the product in the event of total or partial deterioration that impairs its proper operation and is the result of an accidental, unforeseeable event not caused by the customer. The guarantee is valid for two years from the date of purchase of the product concerned and can only be used once on the same item. In order to accept a claim, the customer must present the facts and provide photos and/or videos of the product. Once the request has been accepted, Chronocarpe will take care of returning the product to its premises.
Accidental Breakage. Employees shall not be liable for accidental breakage provided such breakage is reported as soon as possible but not to exceed one (1) hour beyond the end of their shift. It is also agreed that as long as the janitor exercises reasonable care he/she will not be held liable for damage.

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage An employee may purchase accidental death and dismemberment coverage that provides principal sum benefits in amounts ranging from five thousand dollars ($5,000) to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). Payment is made only for accidental bodily injury or death and may vary, depending upon the extent of dismemberment. An employee may also purchase from five thousand dollars ($5,000) to twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) in coverage for his/her spouse, but not in excess of the amount carried by the employee.

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance The plan provides accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage in an amount equal to your basic group life insurance (two times your current annual salary). Coverage is provided 24 hours per day, anywhere in the world, for any accident resulting in death, dismemberment, paralysis, loss of use, or loss of speech or hearing. If you sustain an injury caused by an accident occurring while the policy is in force which results in one of the following losses, within 365 days of the accident, the benefit shown will be paid to you. In the case of accidental death, the benefit will be paid to the beneficiary you have named to receive your group life insurance benefits.   • Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (a) The Employer will pay 100% of the premiums for the group life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance plans. (b) The plan will provide basic life insurance in the amount of $50,000 and standard 24 hour accidental death and dismemberment insurance until age 65. At the age of 65 the amount of coverage will decrease to $25,000 until the age of 70, at which time the group insurance coverage will cease. Employees may purchase additional insurance provided this option is available by the carrier. The Employer will deduct the appropriate amount from the employee's pay for this option. (c) On termination of employment (excluding retirement) coverage for group life will continue without premium payment for a period of 31 days during which time the conversion privilege may be exercised; that is, the individual covered may convert all or part of their group life insurance into any whole life, endowment or term life policy normally issued by the insurer and the insurer's standard rates at the time, without medical evidence. (d) Employees will be entitled to advance payment of Group Life Benefits in accordance with Memorandum of Agreement #7 (Re: Advance Payment of Group Life Benefits).

  • Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage The Employer agrees to provide and pay for the following term life coverage and accidental death and dismemberment coverage for all employees eligible for an Employer Contribution, as described in Section 3.   • Accident INVESTIGATIONS Whenever an accident occurs involving the equipment or personnel of a Supporting Party, the Protecting Party shall take immediate steps to notify the Supporting Party that an accident has occurred. As soon as practical, the Protecting Party shall initiate an investigation of the accident. A team made up of appropriate representatives from all affected agencies shall conduct the investigation. Costs for investigation personnel are Party-specific and will be borne by the sending Party. Other accident or incident investigation costs are the fiscal responsibility of the Party (ies) that has jurisdiction and/or investigative responsibility. The sharing of information between Parties on accident investigations and their findings and probable causes is a valuable tool for safety and must be encouraged.

  • Transportation of Accident Victims Transportation to the nearest physician or hospital for employees requiring medical care as a result of an on-the-job accident shall be at the expense of the Employer.

  • Accidents If a death, serious personal injury or substantial property damage occurs in connection with CONTRACTOR’s performance of this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall immediately notify Mendocino County Risk Manager's Office by telephone. CONTRACTOR shall promptly submit to COUNTY a written report, in such form as may be required by COUNTY of all accidents which occur in connection with this Agreement. This report must include the following information: (1) name and address of the injured or deceased person(s); (2) name and address of CONTRACTOR's sub-contractor, if any; (3) name and address of CONTRACTOR's liability insurance carrier; and (4) a detailed description of the accident and whether any of COUNTY's equipment, tools, material, or staff were involved.

  • Disability Coverage In the event a State employee goes on an extended medical disability, or is receiving Workers’ Compensation benefits, the Employer-policyholder shall continue at no cost to the employee the coverage of the group life insurance for such employee for the period of such extended leave, but not beyond two (2) years.

  • Death The Executive’s employment hereunder shall terminate upon his death.
