ACH Filtering/Blocking Service Sample Clauses

ACH Filtering/Blocking Service. ‌ You may use the ACH Filtering Service to review and confirm incoming ACH debit and credit transactions that post to the specified your accounts listed on the Supporting Documents. You shall establish (and update from time to time) through the System your ACH policies (“ACH policies”) which govern permissible transactions as in the Supporting Documents. If you are enrolled in ACH Filtering, we shall compare incoming ACH debit and credit transactions against your established ACH policies and accept those transactions which are authorized under your ACH policies. Incoming entries that do not match against your ACH policies will be reflected on an exception list made available by us (“ACH Exceptions Report”), unless you have chosen the ACH Blocking Service, in which case all ACH transactions may be treated as exceptions and blocked by us. We will make reasonable efforts to make ACH Exception Reports available to you on each business day. You agree to review the ACH Exceptions Report and determine if the exceptions will be treated as authorized or unauthorized ACH transactions. You further agree to make your exception decisions online through the System on each business day by the applicable cutoff hour. If your exception decision is to return an ACH transaction, you must select an applicable reason code. Returns made absent a specific reason code applied may be returned by us with any reason code determined in our discretion. You agree to promptly provide us upon request with your affidavit in support of returns for reason unauthorized.‌ We shall default to a “return” decision for any exception for which you have not submitted a decision on the same business day by the applicable cutoff hour. You acknowledge that the Services do not cover ACH debit or credit items which we have already paid or finalized or which we are already committed to pay or honor under applicable laws, regulations or the ACH Operating Rules.
