Common use of Acid Work Clause in Contracts

Acid Work. An employee required to work on the construction or repairs to acid furnaces, acid stills, acid towers and all other acid resisting brickwork shall be paid $1.26 per hour. This additional rate shall be regarded as part of the wage rate for all purposes.
